Endangered Fisheries of 2007 Announced. Two fisheries have been chosen as FFF Endangered Fisheries, both with the threat of potential mines that could destroy salmonid fish habitat and spawning. The salmon and trout of the Koktuli and Upper Talarik of SW Alaska are threatened by the Pebble Mine and, the salmon and trout of the Green River of Washington State are threatened by the Margaret Mine.

Extinction Stops Here! 2007 Road Show for Salmon Recovery. A 25-foot-long, hand-crafted King Salmon will travel to Oregon, Washington, California, Arizona and Nevada during June and July to raise awareness for the plight of endangered salmon and steelhead in the Columbia and Snake Rivers, and build support for removing the four lower Snake River dams in Washington State.
