Friday, 10/23 from 12pm (noon) to 6pm
Friday night Film Tour event - with free pizza and beer - starts after the regular event ends Friday at 6:30pm
Saturday, 10/24 from 9am to 4pm


Tom Logan and David Olson put together a great program with speakers like...Chico Fernandez, Jon Cave, Andy Mill, Capt. Rob Fordyce, Capt. Rich Keating, Capt. Joe Gonzalez, Pat Ford, Capt. Honson Lau , Cordell Baum (aka The Bonefish Whisperer), Capt. Bou Bosso, Capt. Pete Greenan, David Lambroughton, Capt. Jamie Allen, and Capt. Mark Benson.

In addition to our special guests, the 2015 Fly Fishing Expo offered many programs, classes, clinics, and workshops from the state and region’s most talented guides, casting instructors, fly tiers, a youth program, and others – all for a $25 fee, for two full days plus the Friday evening reception and some special programs. And kids 16 and younger get in free (accompanied by an adult).


A block of rooms at the Courtyard (next to the Museum) were reserved under Fly Fishers Room Block @ $179/night.

2015 - The Florida Council IFFF invites you to join us at the International Game Fish Association (IGFA) museum in Dania Beach (Fort Lauderdale), Florida for a meeting of all Florida fly fishers. Join with other fly fishers to celebrate the wonderful fishing experiences of our beautiful state. Learn the latest techniques, the best places to fish, which flies to use and meet new like-minded friends.

You can see the best fly tiers in the country, cast with some of the best instructors in the world and hear all about fishing opportunities and locations. You will be able to hear seminars from the best fly fishing guides and celebrities statewide and receive instructions from IFFF Master Certified Casting Instructors.

This is a social event so bring the whole family and all your friends. There will be a huge banquet on Saturday. You are all encouraged to attend. A money saving raffle will help you bring home all the latest equipment, take that trip of a lifetime or acquire those wonderful toys all fly fishers need.

Accommodations are beautiful and The Marriott has shown their support by offering heavily discounted room rates to all who can stay.

We will be offering seminars and programs for everyone. Some will be free and some you will need to register for. Your support of the Florida Council of the International Federation of Fly Fishers is an important contribution to conservation and fly fishing education in Florida.
